We are an online marketing company focused on the 3 core services of Web Design, Web Development and Web Hosting but we specialise in the psychology of a website.
We put together a team and solutions that ensure quality results. We become an extension of your team to really get to know what you want to achieve and advise you how to get there. We use the latest design and development concepts combined with a fully managed hosting server, flexible enough to meet any requirements.
We believe in sustainable websites which means we consider the environmental impact of each website and ensure it's optimised to minimise the carbon footprint. If you take out a hosting package with us we'll plant a tree to offset the carbon footprint of your site.
To provide a complete package we also offer a range of other services to support your needs. These include Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) packages and WordPress fixes and packages. An SEO assessment will ensure your website will be ranked highly on all the major search engines and we recognise the popularity of WordPress, nearly a quarter of all websites, and can offer you additional development or support services for your WordPress site. Richard founded Ampersand Studio in 2022, with the intention to service the local Banbury community as well as the wider international audience. The company has grown to be a well respected part of the Banbury business scene as well as supporting clients across the UK, Ireland, Canada, America and Australia.
Richard has been developing websites for 30+ years and has worked across a variety of platforms and coding languages, most recently using WordPress as the preferred framework. His ethos is to build bespoke websites that truly deliver an engaging user experience and represent a company's brand.
His knowledge of website development combined with his strong belief in customer service, transparency and honesty means he builds long term relationships with every client.

Michala is a trusted creative partner of Ampersand Studio, bringing brand strategy and visual storytelling expertise to our web design collaborations. Based in Oxfordshire, she runs Michala’s Creatives, a design studio known for bold, high-end branding, bespoke brochure design, and beautifully crafted digital assets.
With over 20 years in the industry and a background in both print and digital design, Michala focuses on creating brands that not only look exceptional but feel cohesive across every touchpoint. She works closely with clients to shape their brand identity, then designs websites that express that identity clearly and confidently.
Her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and understanding of what makes a brand truly stand out make her an invaluable part of our extended team.
